About Us

What we do?

River Valley Guiding Co. is a fully registered and insured fly fishing guiding service. We are fully equipped for all forms of fishing throughout central Alberta. Whether it is spin fishing on the local lakes for Pike and Walleye or bait fishing the rivers for Sturgeon, we have you covered!

The safety of our clients is our number one priority which is why we provide all the necessary knowledge, gear and equipment you’ll need for your day on the water. We are also dedicated to the safety of the fish and the environment in which they live, which is why we practice catch and release with barbless hooks only. We also teach and practice proper fish handling techniques to aid in the conservation of our waters.

Trips

Jet Boat – We are running a locally built custom aluminum 16′ Explorer Industries 162 powered by a Yamaha 90/65 outboard jet tiller.
Drift Raft – Stealth Craft Hooligan inflatable fly fishing raft.
Inflatables – Two Swell Fish Classic 350 Inflatable Boats with 25hp outboard motors
Walk & Wade – We offer both urban and mountain trips.
